How does a regular (recurring) donation work?

Your first gift is paid today. After that, each time a gift is due we email you a secure, one-click payment link. Our payment gateway doesn't store your card, so nothing is ever charged automatically — every payment is one you approve. If you don't pay, we send one friendly reminder and then simply move on to the next period.

Can I change, pause, skip or cancel?

Yes, anytime and without asking anyone. Every email includes a "Manage my donation" link where you can change the amount or frequency, pause, resume, or cancel. Each payment email also has a "Skip this one" option.

Which payment methods can I use?

Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards, mobile banking such as bKash, Nagad and Rocket, and internet banking — all through SSLCommerz's secure checkout. Donations are made in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT); if you pay with a card issued abroad, your bank converts the amount.

Will I get a receipt?

Yes. As soon as your payment is confirmed we email a receipt with your transaction ID. Recurring donors get one for every gift.

Is my payment information safe?

Do I need to be a member to donate?

No. Anyone who cares about the GEB community can give — alumni, students' families, faculty and friends. A donation doesn't create a membership or an account.
