Overview
Three postdocs on the MycoForest project testing whether inoculating new forests with mycorrhizal fungi boosts carbon uptake and storage. Postdoc 1 (fungal ecology, molecular methods and bioinformatics) suits microbiology/biotech graduates. Deadline 29 October 2026, 23:59 GMT+1; start 1 February 2027.
Eligibility
PhD in a relevant field for one of three profiles: (1) mycorrhizal fungi, microscopy, molecular methods and bioinformatics; (2) soil science/organic matter and plant-soil interactions; (3) forestry/plant science and field experiments. Driving licence, field skills, statistics and fluent English required.
Nationality: Open to all nationalities

2-year full-time postdocs; salary negotiable under Danish state-sector agreements. Funded by Innovation Fund Denmark (INNO-CCUS).
