Overview

Postdoc in the Population Variation and Human Communication group studying the genetic architecture of human traits such as autism and ADHD using large omics datasets. Review of applications starts on 8 October 2026 and continues until filled; start date 1 December 2026 (negotiable).

Eligibility

PhD in statistical genomics, genetic epidemiology, medical statistics, bioinformatics or related quantitative field; familiarity with omics methods for human phenotypes; strong R/Python/shell skills. Desirable: SEM, meta-analysis, neurodevelopmental genetics.

Funding & Benefits

Full-time 3-year contract on TVöD E13: EUR 5,709.87–7,025.87 gross per month (EUR 74,000–91,055 per year incl. 8% holiday allowance); 30 days annual leave.
