Overview

Aalto's Excellence Scholarship waives tuition fees for the best-ranked international applicants admitted to its master's programmes, which include technology programmes in life science and bioengineering areas. Apply for the scholarship in the same application during 7 December 2026 – 5 January 2027 for studies starting autumn 2027.

Eligibility

Non-EU/EEA/Swiss citizens liable to pay tuition fees; scholarship requested within the standard master's application (7 Dec 2026 – 5 Jan 2027, 15:00 UTC+2); documents due 12 Jan 2027, 15:00 UTC+2.

Nationality: Non-EU/EEA citizens incl. Bangladesh

Funding & Benefits

Tuition fee waivers for top-ranked admitted fee-paying applicants; living costs (estimated at least EUR 800/month) are not covered.
