Overview
The Amgen Scholars Europe Programme funds an 8-10 week hands-on summer research placement at one of five partner institutions (ETH Zürich, Institut Pasteur, Karolinska Institutet, LMU Munich, University of Cambridge), followed by a mandatory September symposium at Cambridge where scholars present findings.
Eligibility
Undergraduates enrolled at a European Higher Education Area/Bologna Process institution, in the 2nd year of a 3-year bachelor's or 2nd/3rd year of a 4-year programme, with an interest in pursuing a PhD. No prior research experience required.
Nationality: No citizenship restriction; international students welcome
Funding & Benefits
Financial support provided (amount varies by host institution); travel and accommodation for the closing symposium at Cambridge fully covered.
