Overview
ICGEB's flagship Arturo Falaschi Postdoctoral Fellowship programme funds life-science postdoctoral research at ICGEB's Trieste, New Delhi, or Cape Town components, starting 1 February 2027. Applicants from ICGEB Member States submit an Expression of Interest followed by a full application via ICGEB's online portal.
Eligibility
National of an ICGEB Member State; PhD in Life Sciences or ≥3 years research experience; cannot apply for a fellowship in country of origin unless working abroad ≥3 years; preference for candidates under 35
Nationality: Citizens of ICGEB Member States
Funding & Benefits
2-year fellowship (1-year extension possible); includes travel, medical insurance, and visa/permit costs; research costs covered by host group budget
Stipend/Salary: €2,300/month (Trieste); US$1,749/month (New Delhi); ZAR 27,500/month (Cape Town) (EUR)
