Overview

This ICGEB programme funds short pre-doctoral research stays (1-12 months) at ICGEB's Trieste, New Delhi or Cape Town laboratories, supporting collaborative research between scientists from ICGEB Member States and ICGEB host labs.

Eligibility

Nationals of ICGEB Member States (Bangladesh included); cannot conduct fellowship in country of origin; BSc(Hons) required for Trieste/Cape Town, MSc required for New Delhi; English proficiency required.

Nationality: Nationals of ICGEB Member States, including Bangladesh

Funding & Benefits

Monthly stipend (site-dependent), travel, medical insurance and visa/permit costs reimbursed; duration 1-12 months.

Stipend/Salary: €1,500/month (Trieste); US$1,122/month (New Delhi); ZAR 16,500/month (Cape Town)
