Overview
The SMART Fellowship supports 'Scientific Mobility for Advanced Research Training' between ICGEB Member State institutions, enabling early-career researchers to spend 3-9 months at another Member State's research institution to build skills and international collaboration in life sciences.
Eligibility
Nationals of ICGEB Member States (Bangladesh included); PhD students or those who obtained a PhD within the last 5 years, or MSc holders actively working in a research institution; no age limit but preference for early-career scientists.

Funding & Benefits
Monthly stipend plus a US$500/month bench fee for lab consumables, international travel and health insurance covered; duration 3-9 months.
Stipend/Salary: US$1,500/month (PhD fellows); US$2,000/month (postdoctoral fellows) (USD)
