BiO Global South Conference Travel Grants

Overview

A travel grant scheme from The Company of Biologists supporting early-career researchers based in the Global South to attend international scientific conferences. Applicants must submit a supervisor/department head letter, justification statement, conference abstract, and CV.

Eligibility

Early-career researchers (PhD students, postdocs) based in the Global South, plus independent group leaders/PIs without independent funding; applicant must not have received other Company of Biologists funding in the past 12 months; not available to recipients in sanctioned jurisdictions.

Nationality: Researchers based in Global South countries

Funding & Benefits

Grant of up to £3,000 per applicant to attend an international conference outside the applicant's home country; awards may be partial depending on demand.
