Biochemical Society Lab Visit Grants – 2 November 2026 Round

Overview

Grants for Biochemical Society members to spend time in another lab learning new techniques or building collaborations. The next deadline is 2 November 2026 for visits starting after 1 December 2026. Applications are judged on career benefit, financial need and support letters.

Eligibility

Postgraduate, Early Career, Full or Emeritus members with at least 12 months' membership before the deadline (6 months for multiyear members); molecular bioscience focus; letters from supervisor and host lab; not funded in consecutive years.

Nationality: Open to all nationalities (society members)

Funding & Benefits

Up to GBP 2,000 per application to visit another laboratory.
