Overview
The Commonwealth PhD Scholarship funds full-time doctoral study at UK universities for citizens of eligible Commonwealth developing countries, including Bangladesh, who could not otherwise afford to study in the UK. It covers tuition, a monthly stipend, airfare and other allowances for the duration of the PhD. Applications must be routed through an approved national nominating agency or NGO partner, not submitted directly to CSC.
Eligibility
Citizens of, or those with refugee status in, an eligible Commonwealth developing country (Bangladesh is eligible); at least an upper second-class (2:1) undergraduate degree, or a lower second plus a relevant postgraduate qualification; must not already be registered for a PhD; must be unable to afford to study in the UK without the scholarship; applications must go through a nominating body/agency, not submitted directly.

Funding & Benefits
Full tuition fees, monthly stipend, return airfare from home country, study travel grants and fieldwork provisions, and family allowances where applicable.
