Doctoral (PhD) Student Position in Epigenetics, Bioinformatics and Neuroimmunology

Overview

PhD project at KI's Department of Clinical Neuroscience studying cell-free DNA with sequencing and computational analysis to develop biomarkers for neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis. Supervised by Dr Maria Needhamsen within the neuroimmunology/MS network. Apply by 15 October 2026; start by agreement.

Eligibility

Master's degree or equivalent (at least 240 credits, of which 60 at advanced level) and English proficiency equivalent to Swedish upper-secondary English B/6. Desirable: bioinformatics, R/Python programming and high-throughput data analysis.
