Overview

Six-day hands-on EMBO Practical Course at EMBL Heidelberg covering EV isolation, characterisation and biomedical applications. Aimed at PhD students and postdocs; travel grants available. Apply by 15 November 2026; course runs 21-26 February 2027.

Eligibility

PhD students and postdoctoral researchers entering or active in extracellular vesicle research; 24 places, selection based on a motivation letter (max 2,000 characters).

Fee EUR 525 (academia/PhD) incl. accommodation, meals, materials and transport; travel grants up to EUR 500 (EUR 1,000 for Chile, India, Singapore, Taiwan), childcare and accessibility grants, Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds travel grants for PhD students/postdocs.
