Overview
Short research visits (up to 3 months) to another lab to learn techniques or use infrastructure not available at home. Relevant for Bangladeshi GEB graduates doing PhDs or postdocs in Europe, India, Singapore or Taiwan. Applications are accepted throughout the year.
Eligibility
Active researchers at any career stage with at least one year of graduate-level research experience; the exchange must be between labs in EMBC Member States and/or EMBC global partner countries (Chile, India, Singapore, Taiwan), not within the same country; no prior collaboration with the host lab; must return to home lab for at least 6 months.
Nationality: Any nationality, but applicant must be based at an institution in an EMBC Member State or partner country (Bangladesh-based labs are not eligible)
Funding & Benefits
Contribution to travel and subsistence of the fellow (rates by destination country) for visits of 7 days to 3 months; excludes dependants, course fees, bench fees, overheads and visa costs.
