Overview

ETH Zurich's flagship merit scholarship covering tuition and living costs for outstanding Master's students, including those in ETH's biology, biotechnology and health sciences Master's programmes. Applications are submitted through eApply together with the Master's application between 1 and 30 November 2026 for studies starting in autumn 2027; decisions are communicated by end of March.

Eligibility

Applicants for an ETH Master's programme with very good Bachelor's results (roughly top 10% of cohort); students already enrolled in or holding a Master's are not eligible; must apply in the first (November) application window.

Nationality: Open to all nationalities

Funding & Benefits

CHF 13,500 per semester for study and living costs plus a tuition fee waiver, for the regular duration of the Master's programme; around 60 awards per year.
