Overview
ICGEB is recruiting a Group Leader to establish an independent virology research group at its Trieste headquarters, reporting to the Director-General. Suited to experienced postdocs ready for independence in infectious-disease virology. The extended closing date is 15 October 2026, with a planned start on 1 March 2027.
Eligibility
PhD in virology, molecular biology, biotechnology, microbiology, infectious diseases or related field; internationally competitive research record in virology/infectious disease; BSL3 experience an advantage. Application with CV and 5-page research statement via ICGEB Service Gateway.
