The University of Hong Kong's research postgraduate intake for 2027-28 across faculties including Science and Medicine, with Postgraduate Scholarship stipends for full-time MPhil/PhD students. The Main Round runs 1 September to 1 December 2026 (23:59 HKT); later clearing rounds only fill remaining vacancies.
Eligibility
Full-time MPhil/PhD applicants; PGS generally considered for applicants with a first degree graded second-class honours first division or above (Master's results may also be considered). Programme-specific admission requirements apply.

Funding & Benefits
HKU Postgraduate Scholarship (PGS) basic level HK$19,135/month (w.e.f. 1 Sep 2026), HK$19,655/month for confirmed PhD candidates; top applicants may be considered for the HKU Presidential PhD Scholarship (PGS of HK$28,700/month plus cash awards, travel allowance and tuition waiver).
