Overview

Royal Thai Government-funded HM King's scholarships support full-time master's and doctoral study at AIT near Bangkok, which offers programmes in food, agriculture, bioprocess and environmental fields. For the August 2027 semester, the application deadline for HM King's (and Queen's) scholarships is 28 February 2027.

Eligibility

Priority groups: Bhutan, Lao PDR, Timor-Leste and Thailand; ASEAN; BIMSTEC countries (incl. Bangladesh); other Asian countries. Apply through the AIT online admission portal by the scholarship deadline.

Nationality: Asian countries; BIMSTEC incl. Bangladesh eligible

Funding & Benefits

Covers tuition, registration fees, accommodation and a living-expense bursary: about THB 1.10 million per master's student (22 months) and about THB 1.96 million per doctoral student (41 months).
