Overview

ICGEB course (24-28 May 2027, Panama) on genome modification in mice using CRISPR and assisted reproductive technologies, including microinjection, embryo cryopreservation and phenotyping, with theory online and a hands-on track. Applications close 6 January 2027.

Eligibility

Life-science degree (biology, biotechnology, veterinary), basic molecular biology/genetics, lab skills (PCR, cloning, cell culture), experience with laboratory mice and active gene-editing research; scientific English. 14 hands-on places, 35 theory participants.

Nationality: Open to all; scholarships for LDC ICGEB Member States (incl. Bangladesh)

Funding & Benefits

Fee EUR 160 in person / EUR 50 online. 19 scholarships covering accommodation and living costs (plus fee exemption) for students/young researchers from Least Developed Countries that are ICGEB Member States.
