Overview

Twelve-day ICGEB course in Córdoba, Argentina (2-13 August 2027) on bacterial synthetic biology, CRISPR genome editing, metabolic engineering and chassis selection for industrial, agricultural and environmental uses; an online theory-only option is available. Apply by 30 April 2027.

Eligibility

Postgraduate students and early-career researchers in microbiology, biotechnology, molecular biology or bioengineering with basic lab experience; CV, motivation letter and research statement required.

Nationality: Open to all (scholarships only for Latin American ICGEB Member States)

Funding & Benefits

Full course EUR 200 (academic/PhD) or EUR 440 (industry) incl. materials and meals; theory-only online EUR 50. Scholarships limited to Latin American ICGEB Member State nationals.
