Overview

Expert workshop in Trieste (16-18 February 2027), run with the IUCN SSC Conservation Translocation Specialist Group, to develop international guidance on using genetic and reproductive biotechnologies in conservation. Applications due 25 October 2026.

Eligibility

Researchers, practitioners and policymakers with recognised expertise in genome engineering, cryopreservation, conservation genetics/breeding, translocation, policy or bioethics; up to 30 participants selected on CV (max 5 pages) and cover letter (max 2 pages).
