Overview
Three-month summer research stay (1 June-28 August 2027) at IIASA near Vienna where PhD students develop a paper with IIASA supervisors on systems topics such as food, environment, health and climate. Applications open in October 2026 through IIASA's online portal and close 11 January 2027.
Eligibility
Advanced PhD students within 1-2 years of completing their degree, with a topic aligned to ongoing IIASA research; applicants of all nationalities welcome but priority to citizens/residents of Member Organization countries.
Nationality: Open to all nationalities (priority to IIASA member countries)
Funding & Benefits
Participants from IIASA Member Organization countries are usually funded by their national member organisation; applicants from other countries (such as Bangladesh) generally need their own funding, though IIASA provides special funding in exceptional cases.
