Overview

Berlin graduate school combining computational and experimental biology at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics and partner universities. The 2027 round opened 7 August 2026 and closes 7 December 2026 (23:59 CET), with referee letters due 14 December; interviews are in Berlin 15-17 March 2027 and PhDs start May-November 2027.

Eligibility

Master's degree or equivalent in molecular biology, biochemistry, mathematics, bioinformatics or related field (awarded by September 2027); research experience in computational or biological fields; strong English; a project proposal aligned with faculty interests.
