Overview
ISN funds PhD students and postdocs in neurochemistry to spend one to three months in a laboratory in another country to learn techniques or develop a collaboration. The deadline of 30 November 2026 covers visits taking place between January and December 2027.
Eligibility
ISN Student or Postdoc members with at least 24 months' continuous membership (or a Journal of Neurochemistry publication), remaining members during the visit; host must be an established independent group leader in another country; visit of about 1-3 months.
Nationality: Open to all nationalities (ISN membership required)
Funding & Benefits
Up to USD 5,000 per award, usable only for travel, accommodation and insurance; the host laboratory covers research costs.
Stipend/Salary: Up to USD 5,000 (one-off) (USD)
