Overview

Merit-based tuition-fee scholarship for excellent non-EEA students entering a Master's programme at Leiden University, which includes life science, biomedical and bioinformatics programmes. Apply for admission first, then submit the scholarship application in the portal by 1 December 2026.

Eligibility

Non-EEA/non-EFTA nationals admitted to a Leiden Master's programme; excellent academic results (around top 10% of graduates); motivation letter (max 500 words) submitted via the application portal after applying for admission.

Nationality: Non-EEA nationals (Bangladesh eligible)

Funding & Benefits

Tuition fee reduction in five award levels from EUR 10,000 up to EUR 19,000 of the tuition fee; not a full scholarship.
