Overview

New structured three-year PhD school at the interface of AI and biomedicine, with dual-supervised projects across 30+ research groups in Germany. Applications opened 1 September 2026 and close 1 December 2026; the first cohort starts September 2027.

Eligibility

Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics or related field; life-science graduates welcome if they have strong computational and programming skills; international applicants welcome; two references due by 10 December 2026.
