Overview
The Melbourne Research Scholarship provides full tuition remission plus a living stipend for international and domestic students undertaking a graduate research degree (master's by research or PhD) at the University of Melbourne, across all fields including life sciences. There is no separate application; students are automatically considered for the scholarship within seven days of submitting their graduate research course application, so it is effectively open on a rolling basis tied to each course's own deadline.
Eligibility
International and domestic students who have applied for, or are enrolled in, a graduate research degree (master's by research or PhD) at the University of Melbourne and meet its entry requirements; consideration is automatic based on the course application, no separate scholarship application needed.

Funding & Benefits
Up to AUD 138,000 total: 100% tuition fee remission, an annual stipend of AUD 41,100 (pro rata), relocation allowance (AUD 2,000-3,000), and overseas student health cover.
