Overview

The Graduate School of Frontier Sciences (Kashiwa campus), which includes integrated biosciences, computational biology and medical sciences departments, nominates international applicants for the MEXT University Recommendation scholarship for Fall 2027 entry. The complete scholarship application is expected to be due 22 January 2027; applicants must first sit the Schedule B entrance exam.

Eligibility

Applicants living outside Japan (not holding a Japanese visa at application); must pass the GSFS Schedule B entrance examination to be nominated. The page notes continuation of the programme from AY2027 is not yet certain.
