Overview
Intensive international fast-track programme run by the University of Göttingen, University Medical Center Göttingen, Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences and German Primate Center, leading from a one-year MSc phase into a PhD in molecular biology. Applications are accepted from 15 September 2026 to 15 January 2027, with courses starting in September 2027.
Eligibility
Bachelor's-level graduates in life sciences for the fast-track MSc/PhD (see programme admission pages); international applicants welcome.

Funding & Benefits
Master's-phase students receive an IMPRS stipend of EUR 992/month plus a health insurance subsidy of up to EUR 100/month (if no comparable scholarship); PhD candidates are typically employed and funded by their host institution, with programme bridging funds; tuition largely state-subsidised (semester fee approx. EUR 400).
