Overview

Penn's BGS umbrella hosts seven biomedical graduate groups spanning cell and molecular biology, genomics, immunology, biochemistry and neuroscience. Applications for Fall 2027 are accepted from 1 October to 1 December 2026.

Eligibility

Bachelor's degree; TOEFL/IELTS/Duolingo required for non-native English speakers without a degree from an approved English-instructed institution (no minimum score).

Funding & Benefits
