PhD Position in Oral Biology and Medicine (Nicotine Pouches and Oral Mucosa)

Overview

PhD project at KI's Department of Dental Medicine (Flemingsberg) investigating how nicotine pouches and Swedish snus affect the oral mucosa at clinical, histological and molecular levels, combining oral pathology, molecular biology, genomics and analytical chemistry. Apply by 14 October 2026.

Eligibility

Master's degree or equivalent (at least 240 credits, of which 60 at advanced level) and English proficiency equivalent to Swedish upper-secondary English B/6.
