PhD project on predictive modelling of plant-microbiome-pathogen interactions in the group of Dr. Roeland Berendsen at Utrecht University, combining plant pathology, microbiome sequencing and machine learning.
Eligibility
MSc in plant biology, microbiology, molecular biology, plant pathology, biotechnology or bioinformatics; lab/plant experiment experience; strong English.

Funding & Benefits
Salary EUR 3,204/month (year 1) rising to EUR 4,051/month (year 4), 8% holiday pay, 8.3% year-end bonus, pension scheme; initial 18-month contract extendable to 4 years.
