Overview

Scholarship postdoc in the Meletis laboratory (Department of Neuroscience) investigating how neural circuits and neuron subtypes shape motivation and decision-making, including in stress and mood-disorder models. Deadline 13 October 2026.

Eligibility

Doctorate before start; strong circuit/systems neuroscience background; advanced quantitative, statistics and programming skills; at least one first-author paper. Only for researchers moving to Sweden for the post.

Nationality: International researchers not resident/educated in Sweden (all nationalities)

Funding & Benefits

Tax-free postdoctoral scholarship (amount set annually by KI), paid in six-month instalments, for up to 2 years within 4 years of the doctorate.
