Overview
The Swiss government funds 6-12 month research stays at Swiss universities and research institutes for young researchers with at least a Master's, starting 1 September 2027. For Bangladeshi applicants the call opened 20 August 2026 and closes 30 October 2026 at 23:59 Swiss time, with applications submitted online via GO ESKAS.
Eligibility
Master's degree (or equivalent) completed by 31 July 2027; born after 31 December 1991; letter of support from a professor at a Swiss cantonal university, university of applied sciences, ETH Zurich/EPFL or ETH Domain institute; detailed research plan. Bangladesh call offers Research Fellowship and PhD types.
Nationality: Citizens of eligible countries incl. Bangladesh
Funding & Benefits
CHF 2,450/month for 6-12 months; health insurance premiums (non-EU/EFTA), CHF 600 one-time rental deposit grant, half-fare transport card and a return flight allowance for non-EU/EFTA scholars. Tuition fees, conference and fieldwork costs not covered.
