Grants for early-career researchers to visit another laboratory to learn techniques or collaborate. The next deadline is 23 October 2026 for travel starting after 7 December 2026; travel must begin within six months of approval.
Eligibility
Graduate students and postdoctoral researchers working in the field of one of the Company's journals (Development, Journal of Cell Science, Journal of Experimental Biology, Disease Models & Mechanisms, Biology Open); one application per journal per round; one award every two years.
Nationality: Open to all nationalities
Funding & Benefits
Up to GBP 3,000 towards travel, subsistence, accommodation, visa, bench and user fees for a research visit to another lab (travel insurance excluded).
Stipend/Salary: Up to GBP 3,000 (GBP)
