Overview
CSHL's Undergraduate Research Program places about 20 students each summer into hands-on laboratory research under faculty mentorship, covering molecular biology, cancer, genetics/genomics, neuroscience, plant biology and quantitative biology. The 2027 program runs 7 June – 7 August 2027.
Eligibility
Current sophomores/juniors with a strong science background (biology, engineering, chemistry, CS, math or physics); international students eligible if enrolled full-time on a student visa at a U.S. university.
Nationality: Open internationally, but applicants must be enrolled at a U.S. university
Funding & Benefits
$7,000 stipend plus fully covered room and board (campus housing, meals, linens, housekeeping).
