Overview

Merit scholarship for high-achieving non-EU/EEA students entering a Master's at the University of Twente, including its biomedical and health-technology programmes. The application form opens on 15 October 2026 (09:00 CET) and closes on 1 April 2027 (16:00 CET); results are announced in the first week of May 2027.

Eligibility

Non-EU/EEA students admitted (provisionally or fully) to an eligible UT Master's starting September 2027; top 5-10% of graduating class; IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 90; not a previous UT graduate; not eligible for Dutch study loans.

Nationality: Non-EU/EEA nationals (Bangladesh eligible)

Funding & Benefits

EUR 3,000 – EUR 22,000 for one year (covering part of tuition/living costs); for two-year programmes a matching award may follow if academic standards are met.

Stipend/Salary: EUR 3,000–22,000 (one year) (EUR)
