Overview

Nine-week hands-on research programme in labs at the Vienna BioCenter institutes (IMP, IMBA, GMI, Max Perutz Labs) for life-science undergraduates and Master's students, running roughly July to August. Per the official How to Apply page the call opens 15 November and closes 11 January (23:59 CET); applications must be started by 8 January and results are out by 1 March.

Eligibility

Undergraduate or Master's students who have completed at least two years of university study in a life-sciences-related subject; applicants worldwide welcome.

Nationality: Open to all nationalities

Funding & Benefits

Stipend of EUR 1,400 after tax for the nine-week programme, free student housing and medical insurance; no application fee.
