Overview

WHO's Internship Programme places students and recent graduates into WHO's technical and administrative programmes at headquarters, regional and country offices for 6 to 24 weeks. Applications are made on a rolling basis by applying directly to individual internship vacancy notices.

Eligibility

Minimum age 20; enrolled in or graduated (within 18 months) of a relevant undergraduate/graduate programme; completed at least 3 years of full-time university study; fluent in a working language of the assignment office; not related to WHO staff; no prior WHO internship.

Nationality: Nationals of any WHO Member State

Funding & Benefits

A living allowance is provided to eligible interns needing financial support, plus medical/accident insurance; some duty stations offer lunch vouchers.
